NEW CHURCH PRIORITY COMMITTEE

The Mission of the New Church Priority Committee is:

To:

  • Establish and nurture new churches and
  • Receive and nurture congregations seeking affiliation

By:

  • Developing enthusiasm
  • Generating resources and promoting the Pentecost Special Day Offering
  • Setting goals and developing strategies for planting new churches
  • Identifying, recruiting, training and supporting new church planters
  • Identifying locations for new churches
  • Providing guidelines and oversight
  • Involving existing congregations
  • Developing New Church Workshops for the Regional Event as needed
  • Communicating about new churches through the Kansas Messenger and www.kansasdisciples.org
  • Proposing New Church Priority budget
